Host, Julie B Adler, speaks with Dr. Richard Johnston from the World Health Organization (WHO)/UNICEF Joint Monitoring Program (JMP), delving into the worldwide goals for water, sanitation, and hygiene; Dr. Char Miller, environmental historian and author about the environmental history of river water management, the politics of dams, and the crucial preservation of groundwater resources. Heather Venhaus, ecological consultant, rounds out the episode with her experience growing up above a disappearing aquifer.
